Randy is based in southern California and has been working as a professional artist since he was 16 years old. From Star Wars to rock stars to monsters and aliens, Randy's done it all, and has the sketches to prove it.
His breakthrough came in 1999 with the 'Star Wars Kids Magazine'. Following this, he created illustrations of the 'Star Wars Insider' when, in 2004, Topps Trading Cards Inc. invited him to create designs for the 'Star Wars: Heritage' collection. This was the beginning of a fruitful collaboration that led to trading card series for Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Heroes, and Indiana Jones. And the story is far from over: in 2010, the 'Star Wars Galaxy 5' card set looks set to add another chapter to the saga.

In 2007, Martinez had the honour of designing the souvenir magazine cover and the official poster artwork for Celebration IV (Los Angeles) and Celebration Europe (London).

Randy will of course create an exclusive piece for JEDI-CON 2010 as well it will be available as a poster. He will sign autographs for free, and he will rock the stage with his partner, Denise Vasquez. For more facts about Randy's work, check his official web site (see link below).
